Mia and Kiera

When we first got goats we got two girls so that they wouldn't get lonely and it was amazing how different their temperaments were! Kiera was a regular sweetheart who loved attention, would rub her head on you, and would stand still and let you milk her even without being put on the stand. Mia, on the other hand was the bossy one who seemed to enjoy kicking over the milking bucket or putting her foot in it and would protest being milking by trying to sit on the milking stand! She was a nightmare sometimes when it came to milking.

This goes to show you that two goats of the same exact breed and from the same breeder can be totally different. Both produced good amounts of milk, but I recommend only getting this breed if you have the strength to man-handle them if necessary... or verify before you get them what their temperment is like!
