I absolutely love our goats. We got them from a friend looking to re-home a small family of goats she was no longer able to care for and I enjoy taking care of them. I was slightly hesitant at first because she warned me that the male was highly temperamental. After acquiring him though he has actually been very friendly and loves rubbing up on the us and playing. There are times we end up with bruises from his horns from him being so friendly. Then there are times he is a bit more feisty, though not awful and very manageable. The female was a little more timid and took time to warm up to us, now she is a great milking goat and produces a lot of milk.

I would recommend this breed for someone looking for a good milking goat and warn against novice farmers with little experience.
