The ducks lived in a shed by the river by the meadow with the sheep and the pigs. But when let out in the mornings they would casually stroll to the woods. Not us, no thanks. No water please we are ducks after all. Exactly ducks! Ducks are supposed to need water but not these folks. Very pretty looking, they would lay eggs here and there, mostly over there, but no splashing around in the river. Easy to look after. They never got mites like the chickens but they didn't lay well like them either. They didn't get eaten like the geese (who did swim in another part of the stream) and they didn't do much else apart from avoid people and avoid water. Next time get me a puddle duck.
