Our New Babies

We had the births of our newest goats a little over 3 months ago. We bred 2 of our does to a part Nigerian and part La Manch buck. One of the Does is Nigerian and the other Doe is La Mancha/Boer. The La Mancha/Boer cross is a great milk goat and the Nigerian gives us a bit less but is a great milk goat.
Both Does had twins and we noticed that both sets of babies were on their feet much quicker than any of our Nigerian babies had ever been. Still not sure what that is about. They are cute and very healthy. Three of the have the La Mancha ears and one of the ones that belong to the Nigerian mother has Nigerian ears.
I can already tell that that the nipple size is much bigger than our Nigerian girls were at that age which will make the milking so much easier.
The temperament is so much sweeter too, These like being held where as our Nigerian babies did not. I will post more as they get older.
