My Brief Experience WIth Llamas

By

Posted Dec 08, 2012

My father always wanted to own Llamas and, after he began to phase out his medical practice, he started construction on a barn and paddock for Llamas. At first he thought he could care for the three animals himself, but quickly realized it was a job that required professional attention. The beasts themselves were pretty ornery; they didn't enjoy being touched by anyone other than their caretakers. They did produce great wool and I have a great sweater to show for them. They don't like the hot or the cold it seems, as they spent most of the time in the shade. They're also expensive because they're picky eaters and require additional help to maintain.
