I LOVE my khaki campbell ducks. We run a small farm in Alaska, and they couldn't do better in our climate. I can hardly get them to go in in the winter time, and they lay an egg a day very consistently. I have several females that are at least 2 years old, still very productive. They are extremely economical for our climate, and with their winter hardiness, I'm tempted to replace all my chickens with them.
They won't give you much meat when it comes time to weed out the flock, but the eggs are definitely worth it.
