Haybail was sold to us at a local Fair from a professional breeder. He was as cute as they come and was still a little clumsy. He grew up strong and quick in the short time I had him. We then sold him to a larger farm, because we did not have the heart to use him for what we had originally intended, which was to make him into a good burger. He was very social and kind and I really wished we had kept him just to have around, but that was not my decision to make at the time. We had a great outdoor space for him and he was a very calm animal. He just grazed a lot and would lick you to say hello. He ruined beef for me and to this day I still do not eat red meat. He was just too sweet! It is a great pet to have as a friend but also does have great commercial value. he grew big fast and had no health problems. He was an awesome cow!
