We bought our Dominique chickens from Ideal Poultry, shipped from Texas. They live with all of our other chickens (about 40 or so) inside their fenced in coop. They get along fairly well with the other different types of chickens and they are nice enough to people (are not too aggressive when we get eggs). We let them graze throughout the day in the fenced in area and they eat bugs and seeds. Otherwise, they are all fed once a day from large store bought 50lb bags of chicken feed. They lay pretty large brown eggs which we collect once a day. Overall they are pretty low maintenance and provide a good amount of large quality eggs.
