Dexter Cattle - Very friendly animals

My experience with my Dexter showed me that this breed is very calm and easy to handle. My cow is very friendly and don't like to be alone and that's why I spend a lot of time offering him all the conditions that he needs to be happy.

Cattle from this breed will love back if you love them. You must know that they don't like bonding with other animals and that's why, if you decide to have this breed, you should buy two or three cows to keep company to each other. I learned this from my experience with my Dexter because didn't have company in the first monts after he was born.

I also noticed that he has a lot of resistance to heat and cold but need shelter from the wind. Regarding the food, he needs less than other breeds.

In conclusion, this type of breed is exactly what I was looking for when I decided to have a cow!
