Overall, I have been incredibly happy with my experiences with Red Devons. Overall, they area very docile breed, although when introduced to new environments the bulls can become aggressive. Our cows have never had any problems calving, and are very hardy in a range of temperatures. I have yet to see any innate health problems. Devon steers generally have nice lean carcasses and fill out very quickly. Overall, I have been incredibly happy with this breed and would recommend them to most operations.
