I raised 70 of these chickens two summers in a row for the purposes of meat only. They were not pets. They grew quickly, as anticipated, and produced an excellent quality meat. They were not overly friendly, nor were they aggressive. They were not free range, but fed a specific diet meant for meat birds. They did have a large enclosed outdoor pen, which they seemed to enjoy. They would forage and scratch in the dirt. We had these chickens during the summer and they tolerated the heat well with plenty of water accessible to them at all times. While they are not particularly attractive looking, they served their purpose well and produced a delicious meat.
