since i own my small house with a smaal backyard i was looking for a chicken that is easy to keep, have a good eggproduction for 2 persons and don't need so much space. So i decided to choose the common quail. These Quails are so cute and they don't need many space. My 4 Quails produce enough eggs for us and sometimes we give away some eggs. The eggs are really small, so is you're baking a cake you need the double amount of eggs. But the eggs are so delicous. The quails have a house with 2 floors and a"garden" where they can gou outside at the day. At night they are in the house because of foxes and other aninmals that can be dangerous to my quails. I think quails are a very good alternative to normal chickes.
