I like the Charolais breed for many reasons. Their massive body structure provides a solid foundation for carrying all that muscle and mass. They are generally a calm breed to work with, but provoke the adrenaline in any bovine and you will have problems. They are not the easiest calvers because of that muscle mass, however they are heavy milkers and can wean a large calf without the help of creed feed, only a productive pasture. I love the creamy color of this breed. They are a beautiful contrast in a lush pasture. Easy to spot at night!
