Call Ducks (Bantams)

These ducks are very beautiful, come in many colors, and have cute personalities. The females can get very loud, they love to quack! Hence the name "call duck", as they were used a long time ago by hunters to call the other ducks in range. I only breed the color Butterscotch. I used to have many colors, including Crested White. Any color can have a crest, but these are rare. Price ranges from $5-$10 for pets to $250+ for Show birds, and anywhere in between. They originated in England. They are not reliable egg layers but will hatch their own eggs. Call duck eggs are difficult to incubate. They are not good for small children as they can be very flighty. They will fly away if not in an enclosed pen. Their wings can be clipped.
