Rare, valuable chicken breed, but very aggressive

As I already mentioned in my review title, this breed is extremely aggressive. The Bruges Game Fowl used to be a gamecock, fighting in arena's all over Belgium. Flemish people usually call them 'the Fighters of Bruges'.

When chicken fights were banned, the breed's popularity quickly fell to an all time low. They are unlikely to live in peace with any other breed, so don't buy them unless you want all of your other chickens dead.

Nevertheless, they are a magnificent breed! Beautiful colours, not broody and I've been told their meat is excellent. It seems to me that they walk around like they very proud. Quite stunning to see actually. You should check it out!
