When we moved to country, the turkeys already awaited for us there, as my father bought them to breed them for their meat, so that the entire family could eat meat from family-bred turkeys. He chose this type of turkeys, because he knew that this was a good breed for meat...and he was right. They were relatively good, with the only exception that despite the fact that they ate a lot, they did not grow as quick and as large as they should. Otherwise, they were calm animals and they offered us incredibly tasty meat for the entire family!
