I've grown this breed of turkey for holidays and meat for several years running now, and they've always impressed. They have a steady growth rate and top off between about 23 and 38 pounds for the set (hens on the lower end, toms on the higher).
The feed conversion is good; they're good pasture turkeys that will range and forage if given the opportunity; and their skeletons hold up to the muscle and meat they pack on.
I've used these birds as roasters, removed breasts for cutlets and more, and ground whole boned birds for a good supply of ground meat. Every way I've used them, they have been a top-quality meat source.
