My family has always been involved in the cattle business. While we have predominantly had other breeds, I have been exposed to large numbers of Brahmans.

I have found them to be extremely lovely cattle to look at and handle on MOST occasions. The calves are gorgeous and if they have the time put into them and are handled frequently, they're a pleasure to work with.

These cattle though can be very skittish and "wild" if they haven't been handled very much. Not great for someone who has very little cattle knowledge.

They do really well.. especially in the heat, calve with ease, have great commercial value and do not have any medical problems that I can recall.

Depending on the environment you're looking to have them in, I believe Brahmans can be an exceptional addition to your herd.
