Brahman Cattle: a Hardy Breed

By

Brahman Cattle are a very hardy breed. They thrive in temperature extremes, both hot and cold. Due to there larger sinuses, their head stays cooler in extreme heat. Brahman Cattle eat more of a variety of forage and plants than other breeds. They will eat cactus, yucca, and other plants not preferred by most breeds. Unless agitated, they are very gentle. They can jump over fences, so they do present a challenge to keeping them fenced in.
