An Entertaining Pet

Boer goats are some of the most unexpectedly entertaining pets you could own. My goat, Chanda was one of the funniest animals I've ever come across. She was black and white, so she halfway resembled a cow! She had a knack for trouble and was always getting into something. One time, she got her head stuck in a feed bag and was running around the yard looking like a ghost!

We let out goats free range in a controlled area, so they had a lot to do. Chanda provided us with great milk for awhile. She acted a lot like a dog in the fact that she followed my Dad everywhere and would even spy in the bathroom window at him!

If you have a little extra time to devote to a pet, a Boer goat is a great option. They require weekly grooming and constant supervision to make sure they don't take their antics too far!
