Duke and Duchess

Duke and Duchess were born of embryos implanted into Spanish goat mamas. They are the only two of ten that were born, and they survived and thrived. Beautiful and perfect by breed standards, both a bit prissy but pretty normal for boers I think. We made a crucial mistake with Duke's rearing, though. The two were so tiny and cute as babies, that they were often held in laps, that sort of thing. Duchess grew out of it, but Duke ended up being huge. And a little aggressive, and very pushy. I stopped going in pens with him when he became able to press in door panels on the truck, and did it to my side one day.

Duchess had lots of healthy babies, and Duke was quite prolific. They were both very healthy, too!
