Mama was a goat that my grandfather took in trade for some chickens. She was intensely curious, and had to have her nose in whatever was going on around her. This was sometimes annoying, and other times hilarious. We kept some of our roosters on ties outside to prevent them from getting aggressive with other chickens. Mama goat on more than one occasion would put her head in their water jug and get her head stuck. There was numerous times I had to rescue a jug headed goat before she got herself into serious trouble. We bred her twice, producing twins each time, before we sold her.
