Boer Nubian cross: milk and meat combined!

The Nubian goat is a very popular productive milk breed. The Boer goat is valued for its high quality meat. Breeding these two together makes one great tasting meat and decent milking goat.
The Nubian boer cross like all goats is a great grazer and browser. Pasture, shrubs/trees, water, 3 sided shelter, and electric fencing is nearly all you need for them during the growing season.
Goats like sheep will test your fences. They will surely find a tree that you don't want them browsing and eat it down to the stump. Be sure to fence everything you don't want them eating!
