Toffee has been a fun and extremely entertaining goat to own. He constantly gets into trouble and is a never ending supply of funny stories. He has gotten himself stuck halfway over a fence while jumping over, his head stuck in a chicken feeder and ran around the barn running into walls with the feeder on his head, he let's the chickens ride his back around the yard. I would think that you need a good sense of humour to own a goat, but they can be a lot of fun if you aren't getting mad.

Toffee is very quiet, good tempered and sweet with children. He gives small children rides around the yard. He eats barely anything, being a desert animal they can survive on poor pasture. I actually keep him out of our good pastures as they are too rich for him. Monthly feed bill would be less than $30. He requires a foot trim every few months, but that can be done by myself.

He is an escape artist though. We have had to reinforce the door of his stall, build fences higher and put latches on all the feed in the barn to keep him out of it. If he got a chance, he would eat himself to death.
