The Black Sex Link Chickens, nice and friendly chickens to have.
The black sex link chickens are in the heavy category but in the lower end, weighing only about 5 to 5½ pounds. They lay pretty big brown eggs. Their eggs are bigger than most chicken breeds in the heavy category. Bigger than the wyandottes, rhode island reds, even bigger eggs than the jersey giants. If they are handled often while growing up, they end up being some real sweet pets.
