Black Sexlink Usually A Black Rock

From my overall experience raising both Black Sexlinks (Black Rocks) and Red Sexlinks (Rhode Island Reds), I prefer the Black Rocks. They have a very calm demeanor and don't put up much fuss when their routine is disturbed. Their eggs are quite a bit smaller though, and their laying schedule can be a bit hit or miss. But I'd recommend them for new chicken owners who want to experience having their own eggs as well as a chicken they can treat as a pet.
