This is probably my favorite chicken I own currently. Friendly, curious, smart (which can be a problem when trying to contain in a fence), fairly good production, and occasionally broody when it gets warm. Having moved to a warmer climate with them I would probably pick a lighter colored bird for better heat tolerance. If going into more than just household egg production, then I would pick a better layer and forger but Sexlinks do not get bad marks by any means in these areas. Tip: these are also called black comets or black stars.
