We have been breeding stud and commercial Belted Galloways now for about 12 years. Mainly for paddock to the plate beef sales and also, on occasions, their outstanding hides. And yes it does get difficult to send some of them off as overall they are docile and have very good temperments. They are very good mums, hardy, disease resistant, adaptable to both hot and cold weather, good looking, naturally polled and their beef is naturally lean with high marbling.
