We actually have a few fighting cocks at home. It is because my father and brothers join cockfighting here in the province. So we have this new breed, an Asil cock. We are very happy about this breed because he won a recent cockfight contest though it was only for fun and entertainment.
I say that this a good breed to start with for those who like joining cockfighting.
Asil cocks are naturally fighters. They are naturally good at it. Asil didn't have any practice or training but he won. hahaha. They have strong muscles and are very brave.
Also, they don't get sick easily. They are good in foraging too. At home, we place Asilo in the front yard and he does his own thing to find food during the day. But of course, we give supplement food early in the morning and evening.
Asilo has a distinct powerful upright stance too, which I believe causes the other cocks to be afraid. hahaha. If you have questions about this breed, feel free to comment.
