Angus Cows

Angus cattle have found themselves at the pinnacle of beef production today because of clever advertising and marketing by Angus breeders in the past. They are indeed great meat producers because they gain weight quite rapidly. The steers we’ve raised all gain quite fast. Even the heifers gain quickly.

We have had a few of these around on our farm, and they are the best tasting beef cows we have raised. They marble quite well, with juicy and good tasting fat in the meat unlike dairy breeds like Holstein. I prefer Angus beef to Holstein beef any day.
