Yes, my employer is one of those people. The type that is a vegan and thinks everyone else should also be vegan. Yes, we have 'rescued' male angus beef cows before. No, it was not my idea.

The cows didn't really need to he rescued, not like some of the other animals on the farm. They were cute though, and the boss had money and high opinions, so she swept them up.

All 17 of them.

Yes, we were all angry at her. Yes, they were all 6 months old or younger. Yes, I named mine Skull Cow. It was better than Mister Pablo Butterscotch, which is the name one of the other 'lucky' cows received.

Thank goodness this breed is social and doesn't mind people! In fact, there are quite a few in that field who still lift their heads if I call their names!
