Great, hardy cattle for beef production

We have bred Angus cattle on our hobby farm for beef production purposes for over 10 years, and found that the cows rarely have calving problems and can deliver a calf with little assistance required. The cows are fantastic mothers, with some cows even giving birth over 10 times during their life with us. Our oldest cow gave birth at 12 years old. A naturally polled breed (meaning no horns), they are very calm tempered and easy to handle. Our cattle are able to withstand the harsh temperatures of the Australian summer and we find them very low maintenance. Their commercial value is high, as Angus cattle produce highly marbled and tender beef. I have had no health issues with my Angus cattle and highly recommend them for beef cattle production.
