Angus cattle are great for meat. The growth rate is fantastic, especially with the right feed. They grow fast, and put on weight just as fast in the feed lot.
There are some problems with calving every once in a while. They usually throw big calves, so many times the calves have to be pulled.
Their temperament is hit or miss. I have dealt with aggressive and non-aggressive Angus cattle, but they seem to be a little more temperamental than Red Angus.
