I grew up on a farm. My dad and grandpa had well over 100+ Angus.
Bonfire was a bull and I recall he was kept in a separate barn with his own outside pen. He was a huge animal. We were allowed to go visit him but never allowed to go into his stall.
Angus cattle are great 4H animals and fair projects but I think they must be worked with from birth. Cows are quite intelligent and I think many people do not realize this. They are also large animals and I think do not understand their own strength.
However - bulls, in my opinion, should be handled by adults or supervised by an experienced adult handler if a teen is going to handle one. Personally I wouldn't let a child near a bull as they are very powerful and strong animals.
