A Great Cow.

Angus is an all around basic cow, but they stand out in the show ring. I enjoyed raising and showing Angus. Here's why.

-The black Angus can sell high.
-There is a high market for them.
-They have great mothering abilities
-calving ability is great, they produce enough
-Grass is enough to keep them well fed

On the other hand:
-I had a few aggressive Angus
-The price can drop with Angus
-Heat can sometimes get to them.
-This was a tough cow to learn, it would like to fight me.

Overall, they are a tough cow but they are mostly a show cow in my opinion. I would not raise them in my backyard. I just tried them out and it was overall a good experience. I would suggest them.
