Goats are a challenge to raise, but the experience can be very rewarding. These goats have a tendency to get into trouble, and they require constant oversight to ensure that they adhere to acceptable standards. We oftentimes had problems with our goats escaping from their pen, even though it was relatively high. They would also get their heads stuck in the fence of the pen all the time. When it comes to general disposition, these goats can be somewhat aggressive, especially if a male is present around a female in heat. As is true for most goats, these animals will eat pretty much anything, although we allowed them to graze and supplemented their diet with grain. In sum, these goats are rewarding to raise, although they can be mischievous.
