My Andalusian Rooster

Andy was my favorite rooster, though he was so much bigger than most of my hens. I would recommend Andalusian hens or Buff Orpingtons for a rooster of this breed. He was just so large and heavy, I think he hurt some of my hens accidentally. He was a very calm bird, and I loved him. But, he did crow very clearly and loudly. His crow was a deeper crow than a Rhode Island Red, or any other roosters I've heard. He was my lap bird, so he was very calm, and loved to be held. He also liked his wattles rubbed. Obviously, being male, he does not lay eggs. So that is why I rated him as poorly as possible in the egg department. I have never had an Andalusian hen before, so I don't know anything about egg production of this breed.
