Landrace are exceptional mothers, known as one of the mother breeds. They are known for excellent underlines with a large number of teats. This is a great line to use if you are crossbreeding and want some milking ability in your bloodlines. Usually nice temperament. Those huge ears make them difficult to move since the eyes are covered by those floppy ears. Move them from place to place very slowly; give them time to cock the head and flip the ears away from the eyes to see where they are going.
