American Guinea Hogs are a less common heritage breed that provides exceptional marbled meat. This is a slow growing breed that matures at about 2 years but they are excellent foragers and will use every bit of edible material that they find. This pig is also very friendly and loves to be social, loved on, and rubbed. Even the boars are said to be friendly.
