Our ranch focuses on heritage breeds, specifically ones that are on the ALBC Conservation Priority List. We have a breeding pair of American Guinea hogs and they were the best purchase we could have ever made. We researched hogs for quite a while and decided that this breed was the best for our ranch and our family. I love that we are able to have our children in the pasture with both our gilt and boar with no worries! They are excellent foragers, easy keepers and great moms! We plan on purchasing another gilt soon as to increase our production.
