Large Blue Eggs
We get some of our largest eggs from these ladies! In fact, most of my double yolkers have come from this breed. They are fun to incubate because you never really know what colors and characteristics you are going to get.
They are great foragers but do not handle very hot and humid days very well. We typically keep these ladies in a cooler place when we know it is going to get hot out.
The Roosters are great protectors and docile around their owners. We have two that co-exist just fine (they were raised together).
