I did a lot of research when I started buying goats. My herd consists of several different breeds, but my best producers are the Alpines. Funny Face has been the highest producer of all my does. Her milk tastes great and there is a lot of it. She has been a great asset to our farm. Funny Face is an absolute sweetheart and loves attention. She is easy to handle and gets along with all of the goats in the herd. My Alpines are very healthy, friendly, and wonderful producers. They respect the fence and have never tried to escape. In my experience, Alpines have been very easy to care for and I love having them as part of my herd.
