Though the Violet Tree T is one of my favorites in appearance, its definitely not one of my favorites to care for. Appearance-wise, they seem to range from violet in color to almost a copper tone, and are EXTREMELY leggy, so they're incredibly neat looking. Unfortunately, with my experience, they are the most difficult spider I've had other than Suntigers to keep healthy, especially starting off with them as slings. They seem to be overly-sensitive to climate and feeding. Aside from health, they are also incredibly fast and are prone to try to escape pretty much any time you even open their enclosure just a crack. One nice thing though is though skittish, I have never seen one rear or become aggressive or overly defensive. I just wouldn't handle them due to the fact that they would almost guaranteed escape.I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS FOR BEGINNERS.
