Burrowing Feeders

These I keep for feeding purposes, and seem to live much longer than mealworms. As long as you keep them in the fridge, that is. The thing I don't like about them when feeding my Ts is that they burrow into the substrate instantly, which is a huge pain if your T likes to take its time and wait for some privacy before feeding. They are also only good for adult or larger species of Tarantulas. I tend to keep some of these as well as some mealworms in stock for feeding as they have their ups and downs and are better for some Ts than others. I personally have never tried breeding them, and haven't found much information on trying to do so, so if you are looking for a feeder that you don't have to go purchase every time, this isn't the feeder for you.
