Slender Brown Scorpion - Centruroides gracilis

The Slender Brown Scorpion (Centruroides gracilis) is an African species of scorpion that has a relatively strong venom and does well in captivity but because of their venom and being that there are so many scorpions that are easier to keep and more appealing I wouldn't recommend this species to beginners. They have become well-established in Florida, USA and in certain parts of South America as well. Best suited for advanced scorpion enthusiasts. I have kept a few of these and find them to be very easily kept in captivity and I have even bred them, but I would not recommend this species for most keepers.
