Acquired: Bred invertebrate myself

I once captured a monarch butterfly for my daughter that She named Mona. Mona was very beautiful with the orange and black patterns on his body. It was easy to offer Mona a shelter as it only took me a safety net enclosure in the garden where some common milkweed was growing naturally.
I was fun to watch Mona sit on the dump dirt almost as if he was absorbing energy from the ground. From the first time Mona came into my daughter's life, she has always wanted to get more monarch butterflies for her collection. Too bad they are very few nowadays that it is hard to catch one like Mona.
Mona has been a good pet for my daughter!
