This boldly marked Roach species is a great beginner species of roach for beginners. They have amazing colors and do very well in captivity and are easy to breed. They can be kept in vivariums sold as tarantula vivariums and do very well on a moist substrate in a humid cage setup. Coconut husk is a great choice of substrate and a log is a great way to provide them with a hide. A misting every 2 or 3 days is essential and they can be fed veggies or dog pellets on a small shallow tray. They need fruit or veggies to hydrate themselves. Overall a great species for insect enthusiasts and a very bizarre roach species indeed.
