Acanthoscurria geniculata

A. geniculata is a great tarantula for those who want something impressive and striking in appearance. They are defensive, and flick hairs when disturbed, but as a display animal, you can't go wrong. The white banding on black legs, combined with their large size and high prey drive make them very entertaining captives. Females can reach 9-11" in leg span.
