Beautiful spiders that get quite large and grow fairly quickly!
They are pretty easy to care for, again not a species with difficult husbandry requirements. They like to be on display and are incredible eaters. They do have a defensive nature, and from my experience will also kick hairs easily. They aren't a species that I would recommend for handling, but for any collector they are a must have. Their beautiful coloration, combined with the fact that are usually out in the open, makes them a great display spider.
They can be a little more difficult to find, depending on where you live, but if you locate a reputable breeder with a large selection, they will almost always have some.
