As previously mentioned on here, these are not your standard Avicularias. They tend to be more aggressive than other Avic.'s and can be shy. These are not for beginners as they are fast and harder to keep than others in it's family. They can be docile, but are very skittish. They'd rather run and hide than bite, but are known to 'fling' their hairs in defense. They are New World Tarantula's, which are Bombardiers. That means they are covered in barbed hairs that they launch at predators, which can cause itching, rashes, and partial blindness if it gets in the eye.
